As Time Goes By - Porcelain Pendant with Vintage Watch Gears

Description

Four vintage watch gears, one solid and one openwork, form the eyes or sunglasses for this unusual necklace. They are wired onto the porcelain base and attached with tiny facetted yellow glass beads.

The face was created from wet porcelain clay, glazed and fired twice in a kiln up to 2167 degrees. The face measures just 7/8" across so it is very delicate. The necklace measures 18-1/2" and is 14K gold filled chain - the pendant is signed on the back.
